“Retraining of new surgical techniques of skull base and brain vessels” in Isfahan

The refresher training seminar on skull base and brain vascular surgery was held by Dr. Mortazavi on the 16th and 17th of May 2022, at the invitation of the Isfahan Branch of the Iranian Neurological Surgeons Association, in the amphitheater hall of Isfahan Milad Hospital.
Dr. Martin Mortazavi, in the first part of this seminar, which lasted from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16th, was for a group of neurosurgery assistants and doctors who came from different cities of Iran to retrain the latest in skull base surgery and brain vessels. , expressed their professional experiences and achievements.
In the second part of this seminar, which continued after a short break in the afternoon of the same day, Dr. Mortazavi operated on a patient's cancerous brain mass in the operating room of Milad Hospital, and the interested people present in the amphitheater hall of Milad Hospital and students and doctors from other cities through Sky Room watched this sensitive surgery live across the country and used Dr. Mortazavi's explanations. This surgery, which lasted for about 6 hours, ended with the complete removal of the tumor from the patient's brain, and fortunately, the patient is in perfect health.
In continuation of the retraining of new cranial base and brain vessel surgery to young Iranian surgeons, on May 17th another surgery was performed by Dr. Mortazavi at Milad Hospital in Isfahan, which lasted for more than 10 hours. The aforementioned surgery, which had not been performed before in Iran, included many points that were followed live by a large number of residents and neurosurgeons due to its high importance.
It should be noted that due to the great importance of the seminar and its ancillary surgeries, the Isfahan branch of the Iranian Neurological Surgeons Association has awarded retraining certificates to the attendees of this seminar.
