Tumors

Tumors of the Brain, Nerves and Spine
A tumor is a collection of abnormal cells. The skull contains the brain and has a strong tissue to protect and care for it. In the same way, the spine also protects the spinal cord. The growth of any type of cell within the enclosed space can cause disorders. Tumors are either cancerous (malignant) or non-cancerous (benign). Determining the type of tumors is very important in improving treatment.
